Samantha Crickmore, LM, Owner

Samantha began her journey into midwifery in 2009. She was pursuing nursing and obstetrics, when she had the life changing opportunity to witness midwifery care first hand. She knew instantly that this was her calling and transferred to FSTM (Florida School of Traditional Midwifery). She graduated, with honors, from the 3 year direct-entry midwifery program at the Florida School of Traditional Midwifery in Gainesville, Florida. Samantha had the amazing opportunity to learn from a variety of midwives from brand new to grassroot. Their varying levels of expertise and differences in styles of practice have shaped her into the midwife she is today. She has worked in multiple well-known and respected birth centers as well as a high-risk OB office. Since 2015, Samantha has attended over 1000 out of hospital births. Caring for healthy, low-risk women is her specialty, therefore, her cesarean rate is below 5% compared to a local rate of 35% or more. She is known for her nurturing, personalized, evidence-based care and her light-hearted sense of humor. She is a mother of 5, her youngest was born at home after 3 c-sections.

Sharon Green, graduate Midwife (pending licensure)

Sharon Green is a FSTM graduate midwife class of 2022. She is currently our office manager and will be transitioning into an active role as one of our midwives very soon! She is a mother of three young men, so basically she can handle anything! She also works for a non profit and is a woman of strong faith. She has a great sense of humor and an impecible work ethic.

Jehmia Williams

“Mia” has always had a love for birth work . She first got involved in the field in 2019, when she became a DONA Trained doula. After finishing her B.S in Biology at Bethune-Cookman University, Jehmia decided she preferred the autonomous and specialized care of midwifery and chose to pursue her LM and CPM in Midwifery.

Jehmia has been with First Coast since summer 2022 and acts as both a student midwife and office manager. She’s has fit right into the FCMS role and is beyond excited to accompany you on your birthing journey.
